I'm looking for an 18-20 ft aluminum open car trailer. I have been looking at ATC and Featherlite trailers and thought I'd see if someone has got one for sale
Or has a lead on a good dealer.
I'm going to need a winch, but would like a wheel rack, box and a stone guard. Those last 3 are "if I can swing it" in the price things. Id like them...but the winch is the only have to have at the moment.
Any leads? I'm in the east bay of the SF Bay Area.

Sorry, no lead here but you might want to consider a Sloan Qwik load Texas roll back trailer.
I bought one off of Craigslist and am quite happy not to be using ramps any more.

I bought a new Wilson tilt trailer. Built in Winters. Not far from here. Bought it new in '93. Never missed ramps since.

Possible to run a winch on a tilt...well anything is possible... But realistically possible?

I don't think Wilson makes smaller trailers anymore. Just took a quick look at their website.

i have a winch on mine. Works fine.

We have a winch on our tilt and a power tilter. We use a power trailer jack to do tilt duty.

Dang! Are you hiring or want to adopt? I'm on a fixed income now so it's no power everything for me... :(

Uhhh..... we built it from a stack of steel... probably less than a 1/4 the cost of an aluminum trailer... the trailer jack was used, donated by a guy that had replaced it with a larger one. The winch is a HF portable... $39.95 about 10 years ago...
You might have noticed a lot of the LSR guys are living on fixed incomes... racing what you can afford.

I got a power landing gear for the race trailer a couple of years ago. $179/free freight at Northern Tools. Hassle me about having such a luxury -- and then come watch how cool it is to NOT have to crank up and down each danged time.
I'm tired of busting knuckles on the trailer frame. :-D
