Title: 2016 Maine Event Live Audio Streaming
Post by: gkabbt on July 15, 2016, 09:12:52 AM

Audio stream is up and running. Drivers meeting just finished and there is currently a rookie orientation going on.
As soon as that is over, we'll be racing.....probably about 15 minutes.

As usual, I hope you enjoy,
Gregg

Gregg -

Do you have the link to the live audio stream?

Thanks,
Chris

Click on the link at the top of this page that says:

Live Audio Streaming and Archives of Past Events

That will take you to the Meridix software and then click on Listen Live in the upper left of that screen.

We've had cross winds this morning and now we are having 10 - 15+ MPH gust.
Tim decided to hold the course and do an early lunch so no racing for about 45 mins to 1 hr.
I'll post back when we start back racing.

TTFN,

Wind is still an issue here and just heard that we "should" start back racing around 2:00 PM.

Wind is still an issue so the decision was made to run cars and lower powered bikes only.
If the wind dies down then the high powered bikes will be back making laps.

Not a lot of activity so I'm outta here.

We'll do it again tomorrow!

Everyone is heading back into positions so we'll be back racing in just a few minutes.

Pits are emptying so I'll probably be out of here at 4:00 PM and probably not be here tomorrow.

We're down to hot lapping so I'm outta here. As I posted earlier, not very many cars / bikes left in the pits so I'm done for this meet. I didn't realize it when I decided to come here but I should have been here the 1st day Wednesday. That's when the BIG speeds were posted and then folks started blowing up. Oh well....live and learn!

Next streaming meet from me will be Wilmington in September.

Gregg:

Thanks for the live stream. It was the perfect backdrop for working in the shop today on the 2100.

I'm gonna jump in here and let youse guys know that landracing.com WILL be streaming from SpeedWeek.  SCTA/BNI and we will be sharing the audio.  Ron Christensen and I will be sharing radio 1610AM announcing duties (or 89.7FM or whatever it'll be).  I'll be happy to announce any speeds any of you want me to read out for your unofficial number -- but understand there'll be a quid pro quo, probably measured in $ per MPH.

Don't count on it...

Thanks as always to Gregoleum for doing the footwork to get the sound to you.  See you/talk to you from the salt.
