Does that really look like a Taurus to you? Did any of the Taurus cars you had have rear wheel drive V8 platforms? it looks a lot more like a NASCAR chassis. Which may or may not (more not) be a street car. Most street driven cars i see have headlights.

Three notes:

1. cars are teched for safety.
2. only if the car sets a record does it undergo scrutiny to see if it meets the class rules
3. At ECTA, we rely on racers to self police and live with their integrity.

Photo of the car looks pretty stock. Photo is in Woody's group from the last day. But did you actually see the engine? Nothing to say he couldn't have removed FI for a carb or done an engine swap. A gentle approach to the owner asking the question/suggesting the miss classification, perhaps. If you want to protest a record it is too late now but read rule 1.I in the rule book. As revolutionary said, we police our own stuff. If someone "cheats" they are only cheating themselves in reality though I know a record feels good.

Just wondering ?  i wasn't at race  as planned , But see it was in the class i run in and was simply wondering if it had a carb or not as  grs is carb  not fuel inj thats all, and thats what i love about this racing  the engineering and creativity  that goes on is awesome   glad weather  was kinda nice to the racers
