Title: Craig Breedlove's 2020 Land Speed Record Car Questions.
Post by: J79 on April 27, 2016, 06:20:53 PM
After reading this article http://www.hotrod.com/news/craig-breedlove-americas-600-mph-man/
it sounds like Craig Breedlove is going to build a new Land Speed Record Car. Does anyone know more about this project, what types of engines (2-J79's), where will it be built, who's paying for it, when will it be ready to roll, where will it be raced, why did he sell his last car (could not afford or did not want to spend his own money running it)...? What's the reason for going to two engines? Is it because the course is getting shorter, getting up to speed quickly is the key to success and a single engine is too slow?

Many of the questions I've asked are answered in this similar thread: http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,10462.0.html
