We could all chip in and rent a drag strip for a week if there one close by....
-
Most serious lsr cars are totally unsuited for use on a drag strip.

find 7 miles and you have it figured out. 1/4 mile ... we are off the truck and half way through first gear

I'll run my bike anywhere, just thinking about the poor sods coming over from the UK again, my bikes not going to sit in the living room, let's just hope the event is a go. This will be my first time on the salt, didn't get the bike ready in time for last year, just as well.

About 100 miles away.

There is one right in Wendover, I watched a Kawi rider turn a 10 second quarter barehanded!

When I was there, I believe one guy was selling tickets, doing the timing and the start. And you could have passengers. Piles of stuff in the pits, just like the "old days", with spare tires, jacks, etc. The program was slowed down by having to turn around on the strip and return on it before the next cars ran. Lots of grudge matches and betting going on.
