This is coming right up folks: who's going? Name and vehicle please (first name anyway)! Anyone running anything new this year?
See you soon...
Frank
-
I am thinking about giving it a shot
-
Well at least there will be two of us, lol.
Are you racing the new bike with the *new* motor?
-
I will be there with my big motor bike.
-
I'll be there doing the audio stream and taking pictures.
Looking forward to getting back up there!

That's the plan as of right now

I'm still rebuilding the E-Busa (should be ready for the Harvest Event) but will bring my H2.
-
Marcia will be there with the Flying 7 and the GMC 302.
See you there?!

I'll be there with the G/BGALT Chevy HHR, #718. And in fact, I'll be going alone, so if anyone knows anyone who wants work as a temporary crew member (basically, just helping me get belted in in the staging lanes), I'll be happy to buy you lunch, dinner, beer and/or anything else that'll keep you happy... :-D

Here I am fasting tonight in prep for some lab work in the morning and you have to go and promote free food........ :-( Bright side is I don't have any left out feelings though. :-D
A lot of factors in the big equation but I'm working on getting those that I can control plugged in. I'm way overdue for a speed safari, been missing the LSR family.
Gary
Don't worry, I'm sure someone will be taking you up on your offer. It's the people that make LSR so great.

Hi Ed
I did that fasting stuff and cleaning out a few weeks ago man I hate that. Hope all is well. We wont be in the area untill after the salt experiance in August.

All's well, just the usual lube oil sample prior to my normal periodic maint. check next week, even left 'em one of those random coolant samples :-D
A Loring safari this month hinges more on some life stuff scheduling curve balls I'm seeing in this at bat.

I will be there with the Studebaker.

Ed Brace will be bringing the blown rear engine modified roadster and I am along for the ride.

I'm waiting to hear if Speed Week is being canceled, guess if I can't run three miles flat out, that 1 1/2 miles is the next best thing. According to the Salt Lake paper, they are supposed to decide tonight.
-
If it's in the paper it must be true... don't hold your breath... I personally am continuing to work on my junk for SpeedWeek.
If they call it, then I'll work for World of Speed.
-
And if they call that we will shoot for Worlds Finals.
-
I'll be there with the 600cc APS-PG motor partially streamlined this year (ran the open bike record last year) trying to push my personal best record up above the 150 mph run at Bonneville last year.
And with what is going on with the Salt this year, we could see more competitors this year than ever before. Any chance of getting the second runway going for licensing and slower vehicles?
If the weather in Maine has been like Nova Scotia this year, it might even feel a bit like Bonneville.

I registered last Wednesday.
Four days later I had to push my entry to the harvest event.
Good luck guys and gals. Have a safe event.
