Title: Digital CFD scanning available next week
Post by: fastesthonda_jim on March 31, 2015, 08:20:48 PM
Okay, racers,

Well it’s actually going to happen.  My digital CFD mapping guy is flying out a week from today (that’s Tuesday, the 7th) to do scanning of my liner and of anyone else’s ride who wants to.  Measuring the car is the most difficult part of CFD work and always, until now, quite time consuming and expensive.  So this is your opportunity to do it fairly cheaply.

We will be doing this at Air Tech, i.e., Kent Riche’s place (you remember Kent, right?   You know, the guy whose car is not quite as fast as mine – wasted all that go fast money on paint doncha know).

Address is:

2530 Fortune Way

Vista, CA  92081

(20 miles north of San Diego)

Times will be from probably noon Tuesday to about 1:00 pm on Wednesday.  Figure it’ll cost you about $200/vehicle to have something scanned.

Please RSVP.

Thanks,

Jim Knapp
