Title: motorcycle fuel system
Post by: psyko on March 29, 2015, 09:56:41 PM
allright im reading rule 7.b.25

"all non-valve portions of fuel or gas lines must have fire resistant or fireproof connecting lines and fittings.
aeroquip fire sleeve cover meets this requirement"

so if the fire sleeve extends enough to cover my factory plastic connectors im good here?

also "a metal clamp shall be on each connection of the flexible fuel line."

my fuel line is stock, it has those metal ferrules crimped on the ends of the line. does this satisfy that rule.

finally rule 7.b.2.4 / 7.b.2.5

does this mean i need a manual petcock/valve or is the eng stop switch/lanyard which kills the ign and fuel pump what they are talking about?
