TFA's lil lakester's fire suppression systems came to us with 2 x 10#(net) bottles bought in 2008 but never used
Firefox Industries: FX-325KPM-P, 2 x 10# Fire System w/brackets, pull,
Extinguishing agent: FireXPlus is EPA SNAP listed as a water-based surfactant foam
They are in tip-top shape but W-A-Y beyond the 24 mo inspection/filling certificate period
Q: do these bottles need to be discharged and re-filled, or just brought somewhere to be recertified?
In either case, where should I go to get this done?
Thanks much,
Karl

gande:
Thanks for Joe Timney reference. Joe is a great guy, but a long way from us.
my mistake for not mentioning our Houston base.
DeanLA,
we will contact Kauffman.
Although we don't have a Halon system, they may be able to help.
Thanks much1

Thanks to Dean LA, I am now in contact w/Kauffman in Houston.
As you point out they can recertify.
"yes we can inspect them if these are under 12 years old and gauges show to be in green they are still good"
