we did rent the oval track a few years back ... but those high banked corners are trickier than I thought it would be on the bike.
but it was cool doing 140 mph U-turns
I wonder if we can rent talledega :-)

I think you would be surprised at what the turnout would be, how many entries at $100.00 would it take to make the insurance work or was the insurance cost not the problem, was it just not obtainable?
Someone on the Musclecar Forum holds a half mile event somewhere in Tennesee or North Carolina, I forgot the entry cutoff count, I tried to get in last spring but didn't apply in time. It's a big Corvette, Porsche, Nissan turbo type event. I am a forum member I will look back through old threads and see if I can find out where it was at. I think the only safety rule was bring the wine cooler, cheese and maybe your helmut.
