This is the latest motor cycle streamliner design by Jack Costella. This Liner is being built by Attebury Street Rods for LSR Record holder Jaime Williams. It will be powered by Jaime's record holding Hayabusa engines, and piloted by him. It is planned to debut in 2013.

looks like they will be changing the lower tubes :-D

The mahogony rear wheel probably won't get through tech either if it's got ant knots in it.

I wonder if that wood wheel :-o will become the plug for a Lost Wax mold for a alum. front wheel :?

Clever technical interpretation of the rulebook actually. It abides to exactly what the rulebook says -- "The vehicle, unloaded, must be capable of being leaned at an angle of 20 deg. (minimum) from the vertical position without touching the ground, other then the tires, without prior contest board approval)". Thus if they use a wedge type measuring device, I don't see why it wouldn't pass the technical requirement of the rule.
Pretty irrevelent is the fact of how one "leans" that wide front wheel!

Look at the side supports on the jig. Looks to me like it's built in.
