Here is my 205.93911 Run on Friday , also my 200 Club run and C/CGALT Record
The Push Truck got stuck in low gear, slow start using up a lot of ground before I got going ? Oh well maybe it would have been a 209 or 210 run with a better start,, there is alway next time.

Nice one

I do not know who wrote the article,, but the 204 MPH run was not the fastest car on Saturday,,, My Car went 205.4 mph on Saturday with David Matyjasik driving,,, On Friday Steve V went 211.xxx in his Roadster and I went 205.939 in my Studebaker... no big deal... any good press for our LSR venues is good for all of us,, but we all work hard to reach our goals, personal bests and records,,, just sayin ...

Nice run Charles. Since I am stuck in Florida and not racing this year it is nice to do a 200 + MPH ride along.

Not being a rider of one of those things, what is the deal with sticking your left foot out?

He ran the right side of the track, so he used it to steer into against the crown. I guess the steering is a bit sensative. Just like drag racers leaning I guess....not that I want to find out. :-D

I did run to the right of the center line on that run, the cross wind was effecting me just like everyone else on Saturday. And it is the easiest way to make minor course corrections.

Hey Roland6250,What sizes is the engine your are running and is it stock?Just corious because I have a sportster.

At tech Roland said it was a stock 1200. He mentioned the year but it escapes me. Looked stock with the exception that it had an S&S Super E on it ... Joe

Powered Streetluge motor - 1200cc but the motor has been built high speeds. Engine work was done by me but the machine shop work was done by Andy Simons of Simon’s Competition out of Langhorne PA. www.simonscompetition.com
- Heads where pocket ported with bee hive springs, nitrate coated light weight valves and light weight caps
- Cylinders where bored 5 over standard and wisco stock cast pistons installed
- Trans was rebuilt and has back cut gears
- Non rev limiting Dyna ignition
- Jims lifters, Jims pushrods and stock cams
- S&S Super B carb with S&S intake
Dyno recorded 85 hp to the rear wheel and a top speed of 193mph.

Thanks just wondering because speed you where getting but than again it's not in a motorcycle chassis either.

169+ is a pretty good speed for a 74 cubic inch engine.
what is the overall gearing on your ride ?

My mistake ... it was a B carb, not an E ... Joe
