Ok folks, I hope everyone of the 175 are ready and going through your loading checklist.
For those not fully ready you are on T minus 5 days to final countdown..
Get your race vehicle done, go over that checklist, then your gear, then your trailer loading checklist,, then the master checklist, then the final walk around checklist..
Oh yeah don't forget that little sticker you got from Tonya (that shows you are one of the 175)
Drive safe and see you all in OHIO !!!

Charles,
I hope you get one of those little stickers from Tonya that says you busted 200 MPH in the mile! :)
Have fun and go fast.

I will be there and will do what ever I can to help. Call me when you are close and I will try to save you 100 feet.
What sticker?
-
I don't know for sure but, seeing as how entries were capped at 175 some sort of 1-175 numbered sticker would indicate that you are officially entered.

Dan - Tonya sent us all (the 175) a special sticker - came in the mail a couple of days ago. To get parked in the competitor's section you have to have it, and of course everyone is pre-entered so the paperwork is already filled out and in ECTA hands.
Look forward to seeing you in Wendover!

When I read this "...little sticker you got from Tonya (that shows you are one of the 175)" I figured a question need not be asked. All this has been discussed over the last few months.
Impound trailer is getting some upgrades. The SCTA has popped for electric lights of all things. A giant step forward.
See ya there,

Loaded the Karmann Ghia last night and got our smiley face sticker laying on the dash of the truck so we don't forget it. Should be on the road by about 6:30am Friday morning which will put us at the mile by around 11am.

Welded the turbo exhaust pipe on my nephew's bike again. It has now been welded 4 times. I am adding an additional support bracket to take some weight off the exhaust. Should do the trick. Loading up tonight and we leave on Thursday morning. Will be me, nephew Joe and our crew chief (brother in law) John ... anticipate 12 hours to get there from New York. Looking forward to seeing everybody ... Joe

Folks, it sounds and looks like Max is on his way to the Wilmington meet -- although he might not get there 'til mid-morning or so Saturday. But whenever he does arrive -- he'll set up and put whatever sounds he can find on the live and streaming audio link here at landracing.com. Stay tuned - keep an eye open on this Forum and on the home page where the link is found.
Nancy and I will be at the Gas-Up at the Mendenhall Museum in Buellton, CA, where landracing.com is being inducted into the Dry Lakes Racer Hall of Fame - - as the Historian for this year. The history? All of the photos and stories and articles and that stuff that YOU contribute. Thanks a bunch, folks, and listen to the streaming audio from W'ton. Be safe, you hear me?
