Title: ECTA approved the use of SCTA style seat/tail section
Post by: Joe Timney on November 18, 2011, 02:32:39 PM
Ok Motorcycle fans...one more change for you today. We will be adapting the SCTA streamlined seat/tail section rule in Special Construction. As always, we will reserve the right to limit speed due to wind conditions. Have we made you HAPPY!!!

Yes you have made at least me happy. It is sometimes challenging to build a bike to one spec and then rebuild it to meet another sanctioning body's spec.   Way to go Joe ...

Joe T,
Thanks for the fast response. As Joe Daly said it is wonderful to be able to make custom fairings the same for 2 organizations.  Now if only BUB was the same too........but no, they have the old tail rules with a different front fairing rule.  Oh well. As Meatloaf said, "Two out of three ain't bad."

Awesome Joe, now get on the stick and lets get our drogue chute deployment 5" can ready so I can Fab the subframe once you've weighed the bike.  We'll need that rule for sure.
