Everything was great, except the wicked headwind. Good to meet you Hooley, congrats on the fast transition to asphalt  cheers

The ZX10 ran like a bracket bike, 6 passes between 225 and 228.

Chris,
         That was you pitted next us with your bike?  We sure had a good time and that is what it is all about for us.

Yes, that was me, had a frustrating weekend but learned quite a bit in spite of the problems.

Tommys  bike Is the closest thing to a true street bike other than Yancys Bud bike and Charlies old bike Scott bought, looks great Tom, congrats on the new Texas mile track record!

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Tommy worked for it this weekend, all kinds of gremlins. 244 in the wind was awesome.

One of my favorite pics;

Hooley,  Congrats on the 200 club on asphalt !!  I knew you could do it...

How did you like the traction ?
Standing starts miles are a bit differant ?

Bring that awesome Stude to Maxton in Sept or Oct...

You wanna race on something bigger... get up to Maine and run the 1.5 miles there in July, I will save a pit space for you...

Talk to you soon,

Charles
