"Run For Your Life" TV Series
« on: May 22, 2011, 06:52:12 PM »
Back in the Sixties there was a TV series called ""Run For Your Life" starring Ben Gazzara. In the opening credits there was a shot of Bonneville--the black line taken from a car-- I think that's what first interested me in LSR. I've always wondered whose car that film was shot from or was it a Hollywood production? It looks real to me!

Neil, I don't know the answer but about 1960 the was another program called "Man and the Challenge" And if I recall correctly the opening shot was looking out the front of the Challanger at Bonneville. Wayno

IIRC, that shot was "Stock" footage from another film, but not 100% sure.

I had a thought on this, I figured it was a long wheelbase motorcycle that kept flipping back and forth. Watch the horizon and you can see it tilting as well as the side to side stuff
