anyone have any knowledge of co2 air fuel cooling system??
like
does it work and /or is it practical for l s r??

It's a common mod with many diesel racers. You spray the intercooler with CO2 to reduce the charge air temp.
It's not a good "bang-4-D-buck" mod, but it does work. A 500rwhp setup will gain about 20rwhp with a huge shot of CO2 across the bow. Make sure your air inlet cannot be "fouled" by the CO2, or you'll lose all your gains and then some. I don't run it, but friends do.

It's a good compromise if you are limited on space, but I am wishing I had planned on a water tank and water to air intercooler.
Somewhere in a notebook I have data on it compared to a typical intercooler.
I think lots of the horsepower claims are on a dyno, and many think the real world results are not as significant.
One other thing to keep in mind is ice is readily available on the salt. I'm not certain about the closest location to refill co2.
