Dan, I wonder how they interpret "hand held" as referring to cell phones. The one in my truck is completely hands-free -- well, other than to punch up the number I'm trying to call. Answering an incoming is a push of a button on the dashboard, though. So - Michigan law talks about cellphone use, not hand held phones. Does CA differentiate?

bobqzz...so do ya think that having everyone around you having trouble with
their cell phone losing calls and then of course attempting redialing and continued
manipulation to their "lifeline"...is safer to have around you..??...
