What a great story, right from the legend himself.  Marty Dickerson is no doubt one of the true gentlemen of the Land Speed Racing sport. A smile that is virtually contagious, and the ease of conversation with anyone of interest in Bonneville. I met him several years ago, and look forward to seeing him and saying hello every year. Keep on truckin Marty !  grin
