     How much press should the transmission shaft pilot bearing have in the
crank?

I would not like to see anything more than .0015 inch and remember that what ever the press fit is the ID will shrink by the same amount, so you may have to ream the bushing after you install. I always give it a coat of green Loctite before I push it in. (The bushing in the crank!!!)
