Good for you, Lars

Thanks Rocky!
YOU are now famous in Scandinavia.

From the article:

...it all started with you, my man.
Your dream, that captured me.
You inviting me over in 2008.

Thanks !

Rocky: a copy is in the mail landing on your dooorstep shortly.

I forgot to write a translation of what's said in the article:

"..Lars's attachment to Bonneville started in 2008.
Back in Copenhagen Lars had followed the build of
Rocky Dillinger's "Dreamcatcher" Indian Streamliner on the web.
Half-seriously, [in the sense that I never thought you, Rocky,
would actually invite me
] he had written to Rocky, that if he needed
help at Bonneville, all he had to do was say it.
Imagine Lars's surprise when Rocky got hold of him
2 weeks before Speed Week [ that was BUB ] asking
what plane he would be on, so they could pick him up
at the airport.
A promise is a promise, so Lars threw himself on a plane,
and have been "salt addicted" ever since.
Right there and then, he decided to return one day bringing
his own bike.
That it turned out to be an Indian, isn't surprising after
him being initiated into the Dreamcatcher team..."

Rocky: see you on the Salt in August !

Wow, Lars.  There is nothing better than hometown recognition.

Pretty cool Lars!

Yeah; it's not bad.
Thanks Bo and Larry !

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.
