New Fiberglass? , Bigger Cams? , More Compression? , Stiffer Chassis? , New Turbo? , ...etc. Just a quick hello, and hoping everyone is either planning or already building for 2011 BUB Speed Trials.
That is all...now get back to work.

Complete rebuild for me after I broke a valve spring at 7000 rpm. Now they tell me not to freeze the Manley Next Gen. springs... Larry

Working my buns off, ordered new plug, handle grip and tape. Have to rest a bit and conjure something that might make the bike faster. See y'all in August. Bob

Sometimes I go out and look at the old bolt bucket, wonder why I have this crazy hobby, and go back to doing something else. Work is proceeding at a sloooow pace. I will be ready for the 2011 meet sometime in 2012.

Look for a new entry from the Buell Bros. We hope to channel the great accomplishments of Joe Petrali as in Knucklehead !

We are booking some time at the A2 wind tunnel for this winter. Also a new Rotax based 125 motor is being fitted to replace the Honda RS 125 motor. 10 more HP! Lots to do with the chassis and swingarm as the Rotax is right hand drive.
Drew: You have a picture of a single cylinder motor in your posts, I do not recognize it. Can you shed some light?
Cheers to a busy winter, Baron

Nice to hear work is going on. In answer to 'baron", the engine is a special Jawa. The following guy sure seems to be excited about next year's season http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swGpJA5j_ec

Ole George Formby did some wild sheet metal work on that bike, gotta love the paint job. I got a big kick out of the clip of him doing the Isle of Man TT. By the way Drew - How is the Jawa project coming along ? Stay happy and healthy my friend - looking forward

Got back from the A2 wind Tunnel a couple weeks ago. Good fun and very educational! The bike, as we ran it at Bonneville, has a .337 CoD with a frontal area of 3.0 sq ft. For referance a 1996 Honda RS125, what this bike began as, has a CoD of .644 with a frontal area of 3.4 sq. ft. With some tweaks developed during the test we believe .29 CoD is possible. The guys at A2 are fantastic and it is amazing what you can learn in there using just cardboard and tape. Here is a link to a smoke test. I am posting from a new computer and I can't get the link icon to cooperate so you may have to cut and paste the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG8Htax6_OgCheers, Baron

Baron, That is a great configuration you designed. It should go fast. Looks like an open streamliner. I could not see how the rider is steering. Is it through levers or something? Good job. Don
