Do we have any confirmed dates yet? July 29-31 or August 5-7?? and late Spring meet??? I need to start thinking about budget and scheduling dates against my work. Boss is already trying to put things on the calendar.

The LTA is working hard on a date for 2011. There will be only one event , about the same time as last year. Hopefully it will be earlier than the previous years to allow the SpeedWeek competitors to attend both. Bear with the LTA, please.... Bob W

No real pressure ... and I am all for doing a few weeks earlier, if possible. My work schedule doesn't get crazy until after August 1st.

If "about" the same time as this year, I am hoping the 2011 dates will be a week or two earlier as that is "about" the same time. (earlier gives any Salt bound teams some options and breathing room between events)
My plans for 2011 include 5 events at Maxton, 1 at Loring, and 1 trip to Bonneville. (SW or WOS depends on LTA's date and time off availability and oh of course $$) maybe even that South Florida deal if they do it again and have classes for LSR cars.

As you have seen from the other posts, there have been some developments at the LTA. I would just like to clarify that we are planning on one event next year. -THE MAINE EVENT-
Mark and I are working hard to nail down a date with the LDA and the state biologists. So everyone knows, we are trying to get it moved up two weeks to give more time for those headed to speedweek.
As soon as we have more, we will let you know here or on the website.
