This is my first year racing. Next year Im putting my son on a new bike we're building but I also want to run the bike. I heard if you sign up as a team we can have multiple riders? So does the bike get the points not the rider? And if we are going to have two riders at one event do we have to pay registration twice for the 2 riders or once for the bike??

One machine and all the riders you want for the same fee.

50.00 bucks for the vehicle and that's it as long as you are an SCTA member..  All riders must be an SCTA club member as well or pay the guest amount (Per rider) which is much higher.

If you look up the  www.scta-bni.org web pages click on the El Mirage tab on the left and then click on the El Mirage operating procedures. All of your questions should be answered there. BTW they have a new rookie drivers procedure in effect now. Good luck next season with you and your son at the lakes.
 cheers

Use the same number, buy a new log book for the new bike and have a great time.  This will allow you to retain the starting line position you now have.
