I recently went back to school to get me some more o that education and an getting involved with the Formula SAE car project at MTSU. The car has a CB600RR engine and is set up with an aftermarket EFI system. The rules require either 93 octane pump gas and a 20mm round restrictor plate or E85 and a 19mm restrictor plate. Compression is unlimited. Surprisingly turbo/superchargers are legal. I would like to put together a small turbo setup but if we can't come up with something at a reasonable price then I'd at least like to put a significantly longer duration intake cam in since the restrictor will be a big hinderance.
I know this isn't LSR but there are enough experts on here I figured it would be a great place to ask. Suggestions?
