I'm looking for 1-5/8 x .095 wall tubing. .083 is standard for NHRA and I can find that everywhere but .095, not so much? BTW somewhere on the east coast would be nice.

Putting my 2 cents in .
Aircraft Spruce has a branch in Atlanta. Yrs truly uses their Corona, Ca. facility all the time with pretty satisfactory service.
Other than some streamline sizes everything is usually in Sock.

Rob, You could also try the Chassis Shop in Detroit, MI they have a good supply of 4130 tubing but I did not see 1-5/8 x .095 they did have .120 wall. 800-530-9494.
Good people.

I use chassis shop all the time, they are good people. One of my favorite vendors, but no .095 wall.

Actually Chassis Shop does not regularly stock .120" wall 1.625" dia 4130. I've had a pc of that size on order from them for 6 months and they cant or wont supply. I went to Industrial Metal sales also a Michigan company who does have it in stock. Pricey but in stock (and I only needed 3 feet more.) I have been a regular customer of Lane Automotive aka Motorstate Distrubiting for at least the past 18 years. They carry (in stock) lots of 4130 and DOM. I have an account and prices are quite good. (Very competetive) They ship country wide, but again they are a Michigan company. I prefer to do business with companies close to my home community when possible. Well, some suppliers have become personal friends, so they are close to MY community.
Everyone have fun at WOS, and above all be safe
