Evenings are a good time for socializing with other racers.

"Safety and Comfort, those are the key words, and this is not a business"

Where does the money go, thats collected at these events? Does it go to a parent body or something?

I would imagine it goes for insurance, rental, ambulance, supplies, etc. etc. etc.  There's a thousand things going on behind the scenes to make an event of this magnitude occur.

Bob's comments make a lot of sense. Let them finesse the existing venue before expanding the weekend. Earlier tech on friday might be something to consider. They certainly did run the cars and bikes off quickly and efficiently. I got 4 passes in and packed up at 9:30am on sunday. Can't ask for more than that! Would be nice to know that racing was going to last until dinner time on sunday when we plan out trip, but then...........the volunteers have to get home at a reasonable hour also. Lots of considerations to take into account. A great venue and I am sure that most racers will return next year.
Thanks for the opportunity to race, Bob!  cheers

Peter, It was nice seeing you and talking with you in the staging lanes and pits.

I sure plan to return next year, taking a longer vaction to enjoy Maine and Canada more.

Hope the lil 255 cu in E motor goes 200 next year !!!  that would be a feat for a small motor from a standing start, but that is my goal....

Will you be at Maxton in Sept or Oct ?
