Hello Everyone,

I'm currently investigating a lead on an engine for a long term Roadster project, it's a supercharged V8 from an old drag racer who used to run his motors on 85% nitro making around 1,400 and run 7's in rear engine dragster back in the 80's.

My question relates to cooling motor running nitro, it's a production block but I don't know if the water passages have been filled but I suspect not.

So how do motors running at nitro mix survive cooling wise in LSR, traditional water cooling or cooling via additional fuel in the tune?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Regards

yes

be careful, YMMV, and you may want to calm it down a little so it survives 13 times longer

Yeah I hear what you're saying Stainless, wouldn't try to acheive a drag strip set up for 5 miles, would be looking to detune to about 1,000 - 1,100hp pending the builders view or the motor.

LOL, good YMMV comment!!

So is your yes to water or additional fuel cooling?  Or did you mean both?

Cheers
