There's alot more information out there on Speedweek, but I'm definitely interested in going to BUB speed trials. I wanted to talk to a few people about what its all about, especially if you're racing, because I'm considering it for the future. So, if you're up to let me know what time it is, as it were, tell me what you think.

It is such a great event. I love it so much that I actually put my own money up to help sponsor it!!

Feel free to call me if you want during the day  303-702-1600

Why would anyone with a M/C and/or sidecar race at Bonneville at a car event......unless of course if you want to be around you "club buddies"...........The BUB event is great, no problem getting a room in Wendover, cooler weather........plus you can have a go at the various classes that pay dollars (get your entry fee back).....Hope to see you there>>>>>>.............................

Thought you were concerned about the little woman giving enough space to attend races...

You can do what I do and just try to attend them all!
The Bub is unique as it is the only bike only event on the salt.  My only complaint is communication... never seem to know what is happening, the radio is not consistent...
As a bike guy it will be good because you will see a lot of bikes.

each event has its + and - you just need to go and enjoy.

Stainless, I think I am going to attend them all! I'm just waiting to hear back about a room in Wendover, which is one of the main obstacles. And yeah, my woman might not be so hyped about me being gone for more than two weeks of racing. But hey, life is about sacrifices.

Bak, I'm not racing this year, I'm going to spectate and get the vibe and all that, but I'm down for the BUB trials. I'll be there as long as everything works out. What are you racing?

Buy your wife those hella cute Louboutin shoes she wants and pay for the full treatment spa weekend for her.
Come play with us! There is camping at the bend in the road!
When is the last time you did something for the first time?

Bob, I missed BUB last year cuz of parts supplier problems. But, in '08 I got in line to run at 6:30 am. the first morning.  I could throw a rock to the front of the line. I pulled into my pits after my first and only run of the day at 4:30 pm. While I sat in line I watched numerous people make multiple runs. I went and asked the guy with "the list" what's going on. I was told we'd be going soon. I saw too much favoritism there for my liking. While waiting under the ez up to make my run I saw one of the writers for Cycle Mag. He was on his 4th run. I was there in '07 with the same results as '08. That's why I go to the BNI meets. You get in line and when it's your turn you run.

I'm going to try one more time this year. If things are the same, I'll never go back.

I took this pic at BUB 2008

I do believe that's the lovely Linnea getting ready for her first LSR run.

Larry,
A lot of changes have been made since '08 so I hope your experience at BUB this year will be much better.
If your are not happy...come and see me in the rego trailer and I will try to fix it.
We listen to the riders and make changes every year- and sometimes make changes right in the middle of the meet!
Having the two tracks with four courses has made all the difference in the world!
See you on the Salt-Linnea

As Linnea said a lot of changes were made in 2008 due to the Que problems of years before.  It was much smoother last year and you could get at least 2 runs per day and usually 3 or 4 especially after the first 2 days.  By the last 2 days we were getting 5 runs in if we wanted.

Linnea,
Didn't they teach you to always put your helmet on before you put your gloves on?
