looking for a used but not abused set of leathers that will pass scrutinizing.

5"7", 145 lbs, 31" inseam.

You should probably post this in a different section as SCTA approved leathers are much different than Bubs AMA approved leathers.

I agree.  When I first saw the post I didn't realize that it was aimed at the Bub's event, even though the word "scrutinizing sorta hinted that it was.  Whatever, Ray, consider moving this thread to the Bub's topic.  I can help you there if you don't know how to do it.

Just so you know...
AMA BUB leather requirements:
Suits made of synthetic material are not permissible. The
use of stretchable Kevlar and perforated materials in noncritical
areas are permissible. Leather suits shall be onepiece
design or joined by a full circumference zipper at the
waist. Leathers cannot be too big or loose. Critical area
(knees, elbows, forearms, shoulders) armor or 2-layers of
leather is highly recommended. Due to invisible flames,
riders’ of motorcycles burning fuels of Methanol content
are recommended to wear Nomex underclothing or
something of similar nature.

How do I know if the fabric inserts in my jacket are stretchable kevlar or something else?
