Does anybody have any experience with Stockton Wheel?  Here's what's up - This is only my experience, and I'm not trying to start a rumor.

I've seen their advertisements in Rod & Custom for years, and other publications.  Last week, I made an inquiry regarding wheels for my Midget, and they got back to me in a timely basis.  So far, so good.

Yesterday, I went on line to fill out their order form - size, backspace, etc., only to find the domain was up for grabs.

Earlier this morning, I tried it again, only to be redirected to a different wheel supplier who didn't make custom wheels.

Tonight, I log on to their site, and receive a message that the link is out of order.

Does anyone know if these guys are still open, or if they just let their site lapse?

I bring this up because, as Sparky pointed out earlier in a different post, many of the folks that cater to the racing crowd are having a difficult time today, and if I order wheels, I'd like a reasonable assurance that I'll get them.  Other forum sites indicate a litany of troubles with them.  Anybody know if there is a problem?

Has anybody worked with them or know their current status?

Never dealt with them myself but there is a lot of feedback to be considered in threads over on the H.A.M.B.

We had two wheels made last year for the Vesco liner and they were fast and fair priced. They make good wheels. I don't think they went out of business.Stocton has been around a long time.

I have dealt with Stockton also, made good wheels but last time were "you'll have them couple weeks". Was couple months.  sad
Since then went to: http://www.earlywheel.com/index.html Who were great to deal with, were used to the "weld it 360*" for Bonneville request and shipped them about 2 days after I called with the order. Have good size range and as narrow as 4.5".  ( Rally wheels. ) Happy to recommend them if Stockton is indeed gone.

Funny, I called Stockton Wheel a couple of weeks ago about a quote. John picked up the phone immediately, was very helpful and informative. As soon as I mentioned Bonneville he knew exactly what I needed and made a point to say he could do the 4.5" width Goodyear likes without me even asking.

Ordered a set back in Nov and it took them 6 or 7 weeks to get them.  They said the 360 weld was the hold up, who knows?  They looked great once they did arrive so I can't complain really.  Ordered 2 more in mid Jan and have yet to see them though they were supposed to be shipped on fri the 26th.  Im going to call for sure now.  Will report back if its bad news.

Went to their web-site last nite, couldn't get in. Went there a few minutes ago, and it opened right up.
Go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, where do you get land speed tires to go on the wheels?

LOL Anyone that complains about Stockton wheels being slow has never dealt with Taylormade wheels. I understand Mike Cook is making LSR wheels now. Might give him a call.
