Where do you go to find out what the records are for a certain class at BUB. I am not speaking of the national records, I am speaking of the FIM records. I have looked everywhere and can't find anything and what I do find is confusing.

Thanks,
Scott

Go here for the list of FIM records:
http://www.speedtrialsbybub.com/2009_event/BUB_FIM_record_listing.pdf

And I'm not seeing the 2010 rulebook for International Record Attempts on the FIA site.  I found these by a link on the BUB site.  They were on there last year...

Scott:

It's been a long time since I tried navigating through the FIM site to find records -- but here's one way that might work - easily.  "FIM Charlie" -- Charles Hennekam -- is the FIM's representative that attends the Shootout and Bub's.  I wouldn't be surprised that he'll be able to help you.  "Charles Hennekam"   <cti@fim.ch>

Give it a try.

to me... the records mean nothing if you or anyone cant find them.... I wish Denis or his crew would post an easy record listing to honor the competitors that have supported his events... this would also help the wanna b racers determine their desire to b racers

All of the AMA records are listed on his website and are very easy to find. The international records are another story............

Scott, what's this "wannabee" stuff?  Don't I remember that you've got some records and lots of runs?  Doesn't that make you into a racer?

Just tuned in to this thread and have a question about classes. Are the records listed in the national list the only records in that displacement categories? That is I see in the smaller displacement categories, less than 250 cc there are no records for P-P class. Is that because there is no class for that or the fact nobody ever ran that particular setup?  Thanks Bill

Thanks for the correction, Bob.  Last year there were so many meets, so many people -- that it becomes something of a blur in retrospect, and I remember seeing Charlie lots of times -- but if you say he doesn't go to Bub's - I'll take your word for it.
