Looks like a lot of surface area. If it gets side ways at speed or goes backwards it will create a lot of lift and probably get up side down. Be careful in the design.

Hi Glen, Merry christmas to you.

 thanxs 4 thr input.

ofcourse i can make it smaller/shorter etc etc

but it all really comes down to the fact that the car is bulit
as a rallycar which means its made to race between 50-150 kmh

its not very stabile over 200kmh... without any rear wing is something i have not yet tested though....

Do a search in the build diaries there are several wings shown and might give you some ideas on size and mounting. The 222 car has run 285 mph with their Camero with a much shorter wing as have some others. Good luck on the build and be safe. Happy new year. Keep us posted on what you do.

I race an Evo 2 and I believe that at the mph you plan to run your car will be fine.
I don't know your rule restrictions but if its legal just drop an air dam straight down in the front and youwill have a pretty good setup. I had my car in the wind tunnel in that configuration and it was fairly well balanced, not very aerodynamic but not dangerous as long as you know how to drive(it will never be stable like a supercar).

 Hi again Mike.

Kristian,

A air dam drops down from the front bumper and goes as close to ground with out touching,to keep air from getting under the car.
Hope that helps
Good luck with your project grin cheers
