The BUB 7 will be attending the Cook Private Meet  -- Sept. 20th -26th

We have examined the bike and determined an exhaust leak lead to a small fire on the 355mph run.  The bike suffered a small amount of damage in the tail section and will be repaired and ready for the meet.

Here are a few pics after the run. The powder and water from the extinguishers didn't make it into the engine, but created a superficial mess.

Yup, Nancy and I will be at the Shootout.  We're in northwest New Mexico right now, having spent Labor Day weekend on a houseboat on Lake Powell, and going to a Fandango in Luckenbach, Texas for the weekend, then back for WoS so Nancy can try to up her record on the ZX15R, and then, of course, hanging around for the Shootout.  We'll be there, keyboard and camera at the ready.
