Okay, while we wait -- let's get serious about a webcast (or call it what you will) from out here. I've wanted to do it for a couple of years, but am not technologically advanced enough to know how to do it. If you know the necessary stuff -- streaming audio online, internet connectivity speed required, and necessary programs in this computer -- you let me know offline.
I know how to gather the various audio streams and merge them, I know how to work with the sanctioning organizations to get their permission for streaming audio, I know what streams of audio I'd put on here, and I especially know how to find sponsors to fund the process and the program -- so if you and I get together we could ALL hear Glen saying "Take that puppy to impound!" next year.
I'm waiting to hear from you. Thanks.

Two Questions-
I know that Dale Gullett was thinking about installing the nitrous system on Cliff's Warrior and making a run - can anyone tell me if he is running, and if so, with or without nitrous....
also Wink Eller was going to have his bike ridden by Valerie Thompson, but i have not seen or heard anything about it this week------ is Wink there with the bike (which he renamed "The Spirit of Cliff Gullett") and set a record (I believe # 48 or # 49 on that bike) at Speed Week.
Also - thanks to Slim for all the great updates and continuing information -what great coverage - .......
I know all agree they are grateful for the info......!!!

The car is Tom and Diane Mellors ride from Vancouver
It's a 1950 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn which I think belonged to his late father, reckons it's comfortable and economical and must turn a few heads on the highway
The photo is from 2008, if you look closly you'll see the bike has grown in length

Late yesterday afternoon I visited Dale in the pit and he asked me about the required safety shield over the end of a nitrous bottle. He was installing it as I left there -- so take that for an answer for now. I'll check it out when we eventually make it to the pits.
As for Winkn's bike -- will do, soon.

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime. His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.
Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.
