Congratulations on a fantastic accomplishment!

"I suppose when Scott called all the LTA folks to the room I was expecting something to be said for all the racers present at the meet versus a 200 club presentation.  Definitely was glad that took place but it left me wondering about the other guys."

Actually this was meant to be a get together similar to SSS's Salt Talks at The Bend in the road at Bonneville. Kinda why we call it "AsphaltTalks ". Scott took the opportunity to speak speak and show his  appreciation, which was appropriate and well deserved.
Us LTA guys were there, we thought it was very Guthrie and we dug it.
We had announced the meeting months before, and were happy with the turnout, it were a loooong day.

There were lots of streetrods in the spectator parking too. I didn't take many pictures.

Could you repost a full size picture of the first car, please!  Looks interesting.

I am just leaving Bonneville and I talked to a lot of people about Loring and how great the track was.
Thanks for sharing the photo. Spread the word.  Wait a minute....how long do you want the staging lines?
Bonneville is proof that God loves us and wants us to go fast.

"roadster #55 went 216.596 sunday morning!  I think, top speed for cars. I was in the seat. Everybody should thank  Joe & Donna for all the work that they  did to help pull this off. Also the people of Limestone and Caribou Maine. We had a great time, what a track!!!!!          Thanks to everybody involved."

Pretty good speed for a Modified Roadster.  Apparently illegal as a Street Roadster with the grill leaned way back -- see pictures in the lights and the hood top fit in the pits.

Seems like this team has lost a record before with unallowed body modifications.  Probably not an issue ar Loring or ECTA -- but would be at an SCTA meet.

Results are up, finally. Anybody has corrections or questions write us at the "contact' email address on LTA-LSR.com.
I hope everybody appreciates the difficulty and amount of work it took to get these numbers together, as in don't take a new group for granted compared to the organizations that have been doing this for years.
Also the SWAG orders will have to be in by the end of the month, as is now posted on the home page.

Great job on posting the records. Some of those might be there a long time...

If the grille is leaned back, as appears on the side panels and hood top, it's not.  At least in the SCTA.

I dunno, Stan, if the grille is leaned back -- but I was at Bonneville a few years ago when Joe got his red hat, so the car was legal then (if not now).  He raced at World of Speed this year, I believe -- but don't remember if he made it to impound.  I think he did. . .and that'd imply the car is legal still.
