I have decided to start an new Build Diary. TREITS STREAMLINER We are having problems that apparently have no solution, starting with page 23 in the prior diary.
The other site is still accessible but I can not post and have it work. So if u have questions that have been addressed in the prior diary, go to it and open it. In my opinion, it will sink lower and lower in the listing but it will be available.
My first post will be this evening,
Thanks for your interest and comments. Both Marlo and I will be at Speed Week and you are invited to find us and ask questions. We stay at Motel 6, ground floor, right below where Stainless dumps his urinal, but we stand behind the ledge.

How old would you be now if you didn't know how old you are? If you can't race it or take it to bed - it ain't worth having.

Hi Freud,
For the new people who come to the site you might suggest they do a search for the Original Topic, which is Marlo Treit's Liner . Or post a link to it. Just a suggestion.

"Got'Cha" was first run in 1974. Bill Temple entered both 2 clubs in 1976 with records in AA/BGR. At El Mirage 201.79 and Bonneville at 220.
In 1977 Greg Temple started driving "Got'Cha" and entered the El Mirage Dirty 2 club in 1979 @ 201.97. Greg went on to set two records at Bonneville, one in 1981 at 241.848, then in 1991 he set another record at 262.230
Bill and Greg were the first father and son to enter the El Mirage Dirty 2 club. They broke the D/BFR at Bonneville in 1981 @ 241 with top speed of 249. This record still stands today. In 1991 they set the A/BFR @ 262 which was later broke by Duane McKinney.

At Tom's suggestion, here is the link that will take you to the last working page of the previous diary. http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,2747.315.htmlThis will open the last page and from there u can access the entire site by starting with page one if u desire. The numbers at the bottom left of the page are the page numbers of all the posts. Thanks Tom for alerting me to that oversight. FREUD

Well my first attempt at posting has been rejected.
That really boils me. That's where I was when the doo doo hit the fan a week ago.
I'll see if I can get this posted.
If not, I may just surrender.

Dodge, I was in a sweat when it rejected the post. What happened was that I reposted the images that were on the phantom page 23. Even
though it wouldn't open, the image names are held in the diary. So the post was rejected because those image names were already in the
system. I altered the names of the 3 files and tried again. If it had spit it back at me I would probably have quit forever. Now I will keep
track of every file posted and make certain that I don't post duplicates.
This was a "high level" meeting between Jason Hosking, left side, he works with Hume, Jim Hume, center and Marlo Treit.

Remember these words: tolerance and perfection.
I'll relate them to this project in the next few days.
It is heartbreaking.

All hail the beast, It doesn't matter how many times I see that thing there is ALWAYS something that makes my eyes extend fully on their stalks........just quietly , the manifold pieces shown in the post above must be about the first pieces that I have looked at and thought that there was a remote chance that I could have made them myself.......everything else? well, as far as I'm concerned it could have come from another planet.....It is a fearsome piece of engineering and a testament to the guys who have designed and are building it. Like when I saw Roy Buchanan play guitar ,all I can think is "In another lifetime".

Freud, does it have to do with perfection vs finish time?
