Sorry for posting in 2 areas ... wasn't sure of the best ... and hoping for some quick advice.

long and short ...big , 73 Lincoln rear tore down today , will re-assemble tomorrow .
I could go either way with brakes , disc or drum .

Any thoughts ?

unless you need the stoping power---drums  less drag and they dont stick out so much from the tire wind shadow

Mikes old Buick has Ford rear drum brakes and stock Buick front drum brakes. It stops just fine on the street and at Maxton and also on the salt at the fastest speed of 144+.
