The cut off date is next Friday the 17th of July. It must be postmarked by that date. We seem to have a lot of late entries coming in as of late, and do not wish to have those arguments at the registration table about pre-registrations. To all those of you that've already preregistered, we are very appreciative of your faith in us and investing in the future of LSR in the NorthEast... Bob W

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime. His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.
Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all. J

Pre Registering for 2010 ? OMG, I get to do this all over again ? Let us recuperate from LTA/09 first, OK ? Last time I asked, about 5 days ago we had about 30 pre Registrations. That could mean there's lots of last minute types to pre reg, or they don't want to commit a check to something new and unproven, or like Maxton, it's not important enough to them to save $25. I've been told the majority of registrations are at the event at ECTA, being early not so important as say, The Salt. I'm conservatively figuring at least 50 racers will show from all the feedback I've gotten. Me and BJ actually been messing with our own cars , feel it'd be nice if we set a good example and passed tech and ran decently. So if I'm late to answer a question, it's that evil little green car. I would not be surprised to see the number of participants higher than 50. There were at least a dozen I talked to last meet at Maxton who were committing to come. I think it's the lure of that smooth 1.5 miles of pavement.

Mine went out in the mail this morning. I'm going to "try" to bring both the Car and the Bike, never have done it before anywhere. There is just so much to get ready and pack ... with very limited space.
