Rule 5.D states ..."Length of Exhaust/muffler assembly must not extend past the rear edge of the rear tire." and this would include rule 7.D which is same topic just different class.
 
 I would suggest that if body rule changes are taken that this rule say..."may be extended but must be securly fastened to prevent vibrations breaks and loosening."

Scott,
 
 If we were to get streamlining allowed behind the rear tire, a person might want to put the exhaust outlet in the middle of a long tail and exit out the back. As parachute tubes are on Ack Attack liner.
