If that's the Leggitt lakester 300 mph run driver would be Bob Noice.

Saw a couple aircraft last time I was @ Salt - 2007 WF.

This guy worked at the Airline when I did. Don't remember him saying anything about permission. Not sure I would like my plane on the salt if I had a plane.

In all the times I have landed on the salt, someone else doing the driving, we have never asked anyone. Just stay out of the way and don't taxi much if the salt is mushy unless u have a new set of brakes at home.

My shot on the airplanes starting from the far end. A Globe Swift, A 150 Cessna (count the windows) a Ryan Navion, Beech Bonanza. Piper Tri Pacer, This one is tough, Taylorcraft (I don't think it's a Cub)
then 2 more Bonanzas. My dad was a pilot with a machine shop on Hawthorne Ca. Airport thru the 1950's If I'm right I've flown in everyone of the planes in the picture. (Gimme a break not those exact planes) A lucky time to be a kid spending Saturdays on an airplort......................JD

JD---150s have nose wheels---170   Taylorcraft---I would guess a (PA-12  or Pacer ) TRI-Pacers cliped the wings to offset the added drag of the nose wheel
