I've found a huge stash of old photos to share with you guys.  You'll know more than I do about them, as some of you were there.  I'll keep posting as I come across more.

Please provide the color commentary as you see fit and whatever stories you can share...

Streamliner , this is a waaay cooool photo , sums up salt racing (to me anyway) , Comp Coupe  , spectators in back ground , and can see the RUST already forming on the sills (rocker panels to the Yanks) of the push car. LUV IT , Keep 'em coming.

Cheers from Aussie , Bob.

SSS, you might want to try loudmouth Golf, John Daly's outfitter, they have full suits.

Bob,

that'll be Jim Travis in the coupe. Got a T shirt with that on that he gave me. Jim's as cool as his car imo.

Bystander....u bugger. You must be a student of fine art to remember me.

Yep, U is correct. I hate the pants I was wearing but I recall the discussion with Alex VERY WELL.

Wind tunnels were the topic of discussion and I certainly 'member the principles and saw them in

use when Treit's streamliner was in the tunnel at Western Washington University.

Maybe Stan Beck will bring u to PS when we have lunch.

Freud,

You also made quite an impression on Alex.  He kept your calling card safe for the remainder of his life...

I should update the info on the card.

I've moved onward and upward since then.

But I'm not going to.
