Willie I think it's FIM, but 2008 FIM results aren't published yet to my knowledge

"they went 77.128mph to break the record in the MPS-AF class that stood for 28 years"

Notice I put a "?" mark on it   grin

Time will tell, I think it's interesting to see some competition coming out of the woodwork in the 50cc class.

The key word there is "project".  I like the sound of that as maybe I have the world's fastest "project" lakester and as long as it never is finished I'll be safe  cool ,

Maybe y'all should read the entire thing, they are not looking to go 82, they are after 144... read staged approach, FIM.... this is in the Bub section...  undecided

they are after 144

Looking at the records a few years ago I was dead sure that the 1956 NSU record at 121 would never be broken. Safety rules, I thought, would require a much heavier vehicle.

The Buddfab boys proved that not just wrong, but Oh Hell Yes, wrong.

By the time this project is ready to be competitive, the Buddfab boys may have set it out of sight.

This is going to be as much fun as watching the Manning/Akatiff slug fest.
