Hi all, Time for me to start planning vacations for next year already. (Pushy employer! ) Does BUB have a "traditional" week in September? Checked their site, but doesn't appear they have '09 posted yet. Thanks, Dave

If history repeats itself they won't say till way into '09. But, I'd be curious to know as well. I'll have a motor by then...

06 and 07 started on labor day but this year there was a scheduling situation that made them start a day "late". I would assume they will start Labor day again in 09 barring anything unforseen. S www.scootershoots.com

I see Chris racing Springfield on Labor Day, That might be a good inspection day and racing starting the next. I would expect a few changes but not too many, they seem to have gotten a handle on the flow of the race. (good job Rex and Tom)

Stainless, think about what you just said, do you think they would go through all of the grief of a date change again? There were solid organizational reasons for the date change in 08 and it was not what the organizers wanted to do but was necessary. Let's get behind this event and help it move forward with positive thinking and a positive attitude.

Got that right Joe - the 08 event went very smooth, even with the tragic loss of Cliff Gullett. Every year BUB gets this event running better and better. Hats of to the Volunteers like Bob that help make this a fun event that we plan on all year. Delvene - Lennea - Rex - Drew - AMA Ken Saillant - FIM Charlie Hannekam - Tom Burkland - to name just a few - Then the unseen heroes like Cooper and his crew of tireless track maintenance. I can go on for another 10 min. but you get the idea. Looking forward to seeing all our LSR friends in 09. Have a safe New Years eve, and a happy healthy 09 Jimbo
