On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Thanks for the great song Drew.  One of our best memories of this last trip to the salt for the BUB /AMA event was hearing you play a preview for us while watching the sun go down on the salt.

Drew, for a guy that doesn't like to be watched while he works, your singing and song writing makes it hard to not watch you work....  shocked  Oh that's right, that part is not work.
Loved the song  cool

Thank you to all you folks, and your kind comments.

For those of you who may not know the man holding the mic;
he is my old friend (AMAsports Flattrack Director
& BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials F.I.M. Clerk of the Course) Ken Saillant.

If the two of us get back from our 2009 European Tubby Elvis World Tour on time;we hope show up at the next banquet with a band, horn section, and back up singers. huh shocked grin
I'm sorry, it must be the Guinness setting in again.

A Heartfelt Thanks Again!!!
Drew Gatewood

p.s.
That's enough singing; now get back in your shop(s), and start rebuilding.
The '09 Bonneville season will be here before you know it!!!
