I am building a C/GT 1995 Corvette convertable with hardtop. Will be sporting a Lt5 in the factory location.  I am unsure of what my factory fire wall is really made of.  I have not seen a specific requirement  for GT in the rules,.  From reading other posts it sounds like a coating of Lizard skin would be a good addition.

I just don't want a suprise of this magnitude at tech.
