1 Inch Lug Nuts.........

Yesterday I ordered some wheels for my lakester from Marsh Racing Wheels.  At the same time I ordered some 1 inch lug nuts from them.  They only stock the type with the taper on both sides.
 
 My question is would there be a reason I don't want the lug nuts with the taper on both side vs. just on one side?

It only takes the worry out of being backwards if changing tire speed is measured too.
