Hello everybody, i'm from Belgium,i'm a bike builder and will realise my dream soon! I will compete on the Bub event 2-7 september. That will be the first time. I can't wait to be on the salt flat,i must meet my friend Roger Goldammer and Brian Klock, and probably more! Everything will be new to me,impossible to find that kind of race in Europe. My only experience is the movie with Burt Munrow.... So see you in September

Very nice bike Krugger. I look forward to seeing it in person on the salt. I have a very good friend that lives in Belgium, he owns Tecno-Bike. I will look for you on the salt and maybe also see you in Germany at Fighterama. Bill Wild Bros Racing

Krugger,
Curious how wide is the tank and tail section around the tire... Looks real skinny... Got to love V-Twins.

Hello Jon, i have receive your web adress by Gabriel Uttley(who is a nice guy and have give me some good information about Speed race) during the Goodwood Festival of Speed(UK). Nice to hear you! The tank is cut in half, left and right, wheel in the middle! Of course... Each side have 4.5 liter of gasoline(a little bit more than one gallon) rear tyre is 180 mm wide ,so total wider is +- 340 mm The engine is a stock XB 9 except the carb Mikuni BN(from Jet ski)and ignition,i need more power...but for the first time on the salt flat that will be enought...

So see you in September Freddy, I will be great to meet you this year, I gave Philippe D (Frog's) all of the information that you will need to make the bike legal for running this year at the Bub's event. You have a great mind when it comes to design. J PS. Fix the chain guard, sprocket cover, kill switch etc and you will be fine. What leathers and helmet are you planning on running? John

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime. His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.
Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all. J

According to AMA Regulations as per the 2007 rules.
Rule 2.S Wheels. ...Front Wheel must have cross ventilation at a minimum of 25% of total wheel surface, except for streamliners..."

There is a possibility it could be legal IF you are running for FIM record. There is no mention that I could find in the FIM rules on cross ventilation on front rim. I searched thru the FIM book and found wheels under rule 2.3.16.2 and there is no mention of cross ventilation... That would be IF you are running for FIM record.

Sounds good about the wheels! What is the FIM record? Is it only One mile or one kilometer top speed? That's on the short track? Can i compete in AMA if i change my front wheels? AMA is top speed after 5 or 8 miles? My english is so bad ... But my priority is ride on the salt ,know new krazy friend ,take experience(for the next year... ) and have a lot of fun
