Got all the paperwork done and shipped off today for the whole ball of wax. Why does the FIM make things so difficult? Is it because they're French? What a pain. Anyhoot, it's done........See you on the SALT!!!

The expense of time and money will be addressed very soon.
The FIM procedures are self defeating.
FIA is much simpler but the records listings are not maintained well.
That coupled with the different rules serve to keep them remote from some real competitive machines and they favor the "BIG SHOTS" over the real intent that should be the accurately recorded speeds.  angry

FIM treated me fine.  Charlie is a good guy.

I dislike having to take a stress EKG treadmill test, because I'm over 50, but that's the rule.  It's an expensive rule.

I was overwhelmed by the FIM rule structure, just went to the event anyway, got through tech just fine.

The heart stress test can be done chemically also with the same result and without the treadmill.
I had one just a couple of weeks ago.
It is also required to fly an airplane as well as "Key Man" insurance rates.
Expensive ,YES, but cheaper than internment. wink
