Ernie passed yesterday, peacefully. First open wheel GMC in the 2 club. Someone that I looked up to.

Ernie was a good man. I was privileged to know him.

Sad to hear.
GMC racers hang together.
Did he ever return our clutch?

Sad to hear of his passing. I remember him from that week at Speed Week. He thrashed that night to replace that clutch to make the record. And no, my clutch never got replaced. But it went to a good cause.
My condolences to the family.
